New Ears

I’ve posted this song a number of times on all of my different blogs and social network pages. It’s one of those songs I’d leave on repeat while pondering in all of my uncertainty and wonder. But now, there is a completely different feeling that I experience when I listen to this song. It’s as if my ears have been made new. There is a different kind of hope and happiness and excitement rising up inside of me unlike I’ve ever known before…and because of it, I am being transformed.

As I journey further into my life and my faith, which go hand in hand, it becomes increasingly easier to see just how much the Lord loves me. And I’m not only referring to the evidence in the  blessings He has intimately showered me with, I’m referring to all of the goodness in your lives and even the lives of strangers, which He allows me to witness, be it in person, over the phone, via blog or online chat… My life is changing and as it does, I am becoming so much more aware of LOVE. I am more capable of recognizing His love, wherever it exists. Whether or not I am directly involved is irrelevant. I can see it and internalize it. And because I can, from it I can reap joy and inspiration. From it, I can harvest even more love. It feels so amazing.
