Overjoyed

It has been raining like crazy here. Yesterday during Mass, Father Mike shared that every time it rains, he says a prayer over the clouds “that they may rain Holy water in order to bless the people and keep them safe.” And with the utmost conviction, he said not to underestimate the power of what priesthood can do. I absolutely adored that. It gave me an even greater respect for true faith and it reminded me that I’m being blessed even when I don’t know it. At any given moment, someone I have never even met could be thinking of me, asking the Lord to make me happy and keep me from harm. Ahh! :)

Sometimes I really don’t know how to express the LOVE that I feel for my God and this beautiful life that He has given me. That’s why this blog hasn’t been updated in so long. Lately, I have been blessed in such great abundance and I’ve been trying to find the words. I promise many GoodAppleKat entries are to come, but for now music will have to say it best.
